What Happens to Your Information

What happens to information when a reader visits our guide, writes to us or follows a link? In short, we keep data collection light: messages sent through our contact form and basic visit statistics are the main items, and each is used for a clear purpose. We are an independent information site about Qzino, and the casino operates its own accounts under its own arrangements.

Cookies and analytics in brief

Why cookies appear

Small files stored by the browser help our pages load properly and show how readers move around the site. Details are set out in our cookie policy, which covers types, choices and browser settings.

What analytics show

Visit statistics are combined into totals, such as which guides are opened most often. Totals help our editors decide which pages to refresh, which topics to add and which explanations to simplify, and they also show whether pages load well on phones and on larger screens.

Information we may collect

We may receive the contents of a message sent through our contact form, along with any name or e-mail address the sender chooses to add. Analytics add general visit details such as pages opened, approximate region, device type and browser. Casino account data stays with the operator, since players register with the operator directly.

Sharing and external links

Hosting providerDelivering pages and keeping the site running
Affiliate partnersRecording that a visit arrived through a commercial link

Some of our links may be commercial (affiliate) links. Once a reader leaves for another site, that site applies its own privacy rules, and reading them is recommended.

Reader rights

Readers may ask what information we hold about them, request a correction, or ask for deletion of a message and of any details sent with it. Requests go through our contact form, and a reply confirms what was done. Browser controls also let a reader limit cookies at any time.

How we use information

A contact message is used to answer its sender and to improve the guide the message concerns. It is applied to those two purposes alone, and an account question raised in a message is pointed to the operator’s own support, which is where such matters are dealt with.

How long information is kept

Messages are kept for the length of the conversation and a reasonable time afterwards, so that a follow-up question can be answered with context. Analytics totals are kept in aggregated form for as long as they remain useful for planning. Details that no longer serve a purpose are deleted.

Changes to this policy

Updates are published on the page itself, and the date at the end of the page shows when the latest revision was made. Readers who return regularly are encouraged to check that date, since our practices may be refined as the site evolves.
